[VIDEO] HAS WORLD WAR 3 BEGAN WITH US SYRIA STRIKE?

US, UK and France attacked Syria in a united front with a salvo of more than 100 missiles against three Syrian regime targets, and U.S. officials claimed the attack significantly degraded the regime’s chemical-weapons program. President Trump accolades the attack as a ‘mission accomplished’ on his twitter page.

The US missiles attacked three buildings in Syria, two in the heart of Basad  itself and one other outside the city. The buildings has been identified as Syria’s centre for research on gas and chemical weapons, Facility fir Chemical weapon production and Storage facility for chemical weapons. But in reaction to the strike Assad supporters took to the street of Syria saying Syria has humiliated the US by forcing a reaction that could not strategically destabilize the chemical weapons of Syria.

The president’s dilemma is that strength and resolve do not necessarily equal a well-thought-out Syria strategy,Worldviews explained. “If Assad ignores Friday’s relatively modest military strike and uses chemical weapons, Trump faces a difficult choice. He can escalate, pulling the U.S. military and his administration into a messy conflict that he recently said he wanted to abandon. Or he can do nothing and risk appearing weak.”

The attack is seen as a win for Assad because the limited scope of the strikes suggested that Western powers do not intend to challenge his rule.

Syria’s allies which includes Russia has promised the US missile strike against Syria will not go-by without consequences, saying it will sell S300 missiles to Syria which is twice more powerful than the ones US deployed against them.

Sen. Lindsey O. Graham (R-S.C.) said, “I fear when the dust settles, this strike will be seen as a weak military response and Assad will have paid a small price for using chemicals yet again,”.

News stands to be corrected that the diplomacy for peace with Syria is no longer on the table for United States. Several civilians where attacked during the missile raid, an action which will likely not go unpunished by the Syrian government.
