Where The Tell Is In Chadwick Boseman’s Statement ‘I’m Dead!’

The death of the hero of the movie ‘The Black Panther’, Chadwick Boseman rocked the entertainment industry and left a severe void to be filled. His death was a shock to everyone who has worked with him on set and all the lives he had touched while alive.

According to Marvel Studio, they admit to be aware of the actor’s health issues and his battles with Colon cancer, but Chadwick refused to let the information get out because he did not want to take the shine away from the big movie ‘Black Panther’. He is said to be going through several surgeries and chemotherapy at the time of the making of ‘The Black Panther’ movie.

But quickly, after his death an interview he granted on one of ‘Black Panther’s red carpet event, when he was asked about the Avenger’s Endgame and the ticket sales, he said “It’s great, but I’m dead.”, the interviewer went ahead to ask him for any spoilers and he repeated the statement he made earlier about being dead, but the most shocking response that correlates with the event of his death was when he was asked about Black Panther II, he shock his head with a straight gaze at the interviewer and said again “I’m dead.”

Chadwick Boseman Revealed His Death

At the time, one can take such statement to mean his character was dead in the first Avenger franchise that featured Black Panther where his character died in the movie, but Black Panther II was supposed to be shot because of how big the maiden production was and it was expected that he will continue as King T’chala, but he said “I’m dead.” A little bit of sensitivity would have stirred the curiosity of what he meant by that and that could have informed the whole world what he was going through.

The information of what he was going through would have helped us appreciate his work more, pay attention to his messages and inspiring words and our responses might have motivated him to channel his energy more into the love he wanted the world to see and above it all, it would have helped us deal with his death better in terms of acceptance.

The story could have been the other way round, if he survived the sickness and told the story as a survivor, strong and carried on with work all through the trying time, which would have been a good news, because he definitely fought the sickness.

The story getting to the world could have been good and could have been bad, first, in terms of the aftermath of having fought the sickness and won, which would have been a shock and still inspiring as it is even after his death now.

Bottom line, if he had survived, it would have been a shocking thing to know about him and as it has turned out the other way, it was still a shocking and an inspiring event all the same.
