The social media platform, Twitter did a laughable thing when it deleted the tweet that appears as a piece with which President Muhammadu Buhari appears to roar against the nation’s known agitators.
Nigerians began to say, the presidency has not had a press conference for the insecurity of the nation, but the Minister for Information, Lai Mohammed had a press conference about Twitter deleting the president’s statement.
The present administration does not like to be told what to do and they know how to deal with people who find it hard to comply with their ways. But Twitter belongs to a different generation.
On June 1 that the statement was released on Twitter, that the president lost over 4 million followers. The administration has not taken time to understand the younger generation, because they have no one within the age bracket represented in government, now, that generation goes to war against them.
