Tinubu Should Begin Army Recruitment With Son

In recent news gathered at a colloquium Tinubu organised, he was caught to have said the federal government should recruit 50 million Nigerian youths who will be easy to feed with corn and yam.

Tinubu Advocates for the recruitment of 50 million Youths In the Army

All his outings since the official light of his interest in becoming the next president of Nigeria have been awful in every degree and easily caught by the press/media. His questionable birthday event in Kano, which most political stakeholders could not attend because of bad weather and later became a virtual birthday also saw him trip and almost falling on his face.

And in the colloquium, where he was heard saying the federal government should recruit 50 million Nigerian youths which later got to him and he said the 50 million figure was a slip of tongue. The whole statement seems like a slip of tongue.

For years now, the Nigerian army has wailed over poor welfare and lack of ammunition. As of last year, soldiers have been reported to have resigned in thousands, not to talk of the rumour of the army officials planning with the terrorists against them.

With no change in the military system for better welfare and supply of ammunition to fight, Tinubu suggests the recruitment of millions of youths to the army to meet their death?

If that is his brilliant idea, then Nigerians will need no further motivation if his son Seyi Tinubu applies to the army to fight for his country. Or at least have youths in his lineage recruit for the Nigerian army. Maybe then, the Nigerian Army will have an internal turnaround.
