APC Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s first son Jide, shockingly collapsed and died from what was suspected to be a heart attack around 9 pm on Tuesday according to a family member who pleads to be anonymous due to the sensitive nature of the matter.
The deceased was a law graduate of the University of Liverpool, England, who later obtained a Masters degree in Maritime Law from the University of London and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1999.
Jide had served as Promoter of TSL Limited and also worked in the Legal Department of Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited from January 2000 to September 2001.
APC Lagos Chairman, Otunba Henry Ajomale confirmed Jide’s death in a short statement issued by him on Wednesday.
“It’s with regrets that I inform you of the demise of Mr. Jide Tinubu, the Son of Our dear and esteemed Leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” the statement said.
May his soul rest in perfect peace.
