Jaiye hits the airwaves on Friday, earmarking the beginning of the twin brothers’ coming back together as a duo that Nigerians and the whole of Africa prefer them to be rather than solo singers. The square brothers came back strong with a danceable track on the Amapiano beat, pushing it out with a video that is nothing less than classy and oppressive.
According to P Square songs we have experienced in the past, the new singles, Jaiye and Find Somebody took us back memory lane of the P Square we know and apart from the Amapiano beat, there was nothing surprising from the intro to the music video and their costume in the Jaiye video. It is a video one can watch over and over again. Their ability to get into character of the content of music was as always, an easy carriage for them.
Howbeit, fans wanted something outside the box maybe, some fans mentioned the repetition of words multiple times in the song, but one can accord that to sentiments, since most Nigerian soloists, especially with danceable beats hardly chunk too many words because they like the fans to find it easy to sing along, which aids them during their stage performances and trends.
All in all, both Jaiye and Find Somebody are beautiful songs released by the brothers on the 22nd and it has been doing great. It currently has over a million views on YouTube and other listening platforms.
