Souther agitators, be it, Southwest or Southeast, it seems they are leaving something out of the equation, especially the Southwest. There are peculiar steps that the southerners need to take before becoming a sovereign state.
Even though Taiwan is separated from China, the world is yet to recognize Taiwan as a sovereign state and that is the mistake the Yorubas and Igbos must not make. Because international allies are important as well.
The Biafrans seem to have the backing of Israel because the Israeli flag is raised during Nnamdi Kanu’s rally which means something. But the Yorubas are yet to get international allies.
The Yorubas not thinking about this aspect is a little concerning because, without an international ally, the new republic if it achieves its course, might find it hard to develop. A relationship is still paramount between any state with the likes of World Health Organizations, Commonwealth, Ecowas and other international bodies for proper integration.
If the plan to do this is going on already, then, they need to apply more speed because it is important that those agitating needs to control the narrative, especially where it concerns the international bodies.
Regarding controlling narratives, the agitators already have a foot forward with the recent Twitter ban, EndSars Massacre and other government shortcomings known by the international bodies.
