A new Kunle Afolayan Production airing on Netflix called, The Citation starred the daughter of Nigerian Billionaire, Temi Otedola, who played the lead role in the movie, as a student victimized by her lecturer.
Kunle Afolayan is known as one of the most profound Directors in Nollywood whose print is found in the lane of professionalism and proper characterization of every role as depicted by creators and the big by-liner is how relevant his movies are to the African society.

Meet Temi Otedola
Temi acting the lead role showed some quiet but more of a quick to act scenes in the movie. She was adorable on set and exquisitely charming. She makes you want to watch the Moremi Oluwa character more.
She was so natural in some scenes that make one will agree with the fact that she is human as well and witty. It shows she is flexible to all categories of people to act with them and open to adventure.
Not much is known about her yet, but for sure we know she speaks French fluently and obviously hardly speaks Yoruba, but she did make the mother tongue sound cute though.
She Made Her Mark
Here is the reason why I feel Temi Otedola might just be our own Lupita N’yongo, the American actress that won a Grammy after her debut movie. Temi was a shock to our Nollywood screen and expectation, she aced most of what you expect from an A-List actress, she definitely stands to compete for the spotlight in the movie industry, I just pray she does not get bored of entertaining us anytime soon.
Future Expectations
Now in Nollywood, the ace movie productions are; Mo’Abudu, Royal Academy, and the likes airing on Netflix these days. I hope they tap into this new star girl and make the most of her talent.
I want to see her in more movies for sure both nationally and internationally, I am sure she has a lot to offer. She seems to be a flexible actress that can act in any role given. She is the dream come through for Nollywood as far as I am concerned.
