Suddenly President Buhari Has A Lot To Get Off His Chest

For several years now, Nigeria has gotten accustomed to a president who finds it a waste of time to address issues bothering the country personally. We heard more from the minister of information, Lai Mohammed, who did not mind leading the country into disarray over misinformation and an undiplomatic approach of disseminating information to Nigerians.
But suddenly through a miraculous grant to an interview by Channels Television, Seun Okinbaloye and a female colleague, and fortunately for Nigerians, the president found his voice barely one year before leaving the office as the president of Nigeria https://youtu.be/QiKxy0VSFkg

According to Sahara Reporters, the president was not utterly coherent in his speech and kept swaying off questions and topics during the interview, but so much was still reported regardless of the blanks that occurred.

Graduates Should Not Expect Automatic Federal Jobs
With the level of unemployment rate from past administrations and the consistency as well as an increase in the rate of unemployment, the president has finally shattered the hope of university graduates by making the simple statement. The whole interview was a recording of a president who does not care what the reaction of Nigerians are towards him or his administration.

“Declaring My Successor Might Get Me Executed”
President Muhammadu Buhari stated that if he reveals his successor, it might amount to people wanting to execute him and he will rather keep it to himself. After a while, another question was asked, and the president said, he does not care for who succeeds him. He also said, no one should summon him after he leaves office, because such a person will be in trouble. He said he has gathered evidence over the years.

Analyzing this, it became quite obvious that the president is mobilizing and facilitating resources for a candidate that has not been revealed to the top political stakeholders, which might lead to him being assassinated if it is revealed that he supports the person in question.

And a plan B will be in play to protect himself if the president’s desired candidate does not succeed him after all and the plan B is appearing to be incriminating evidence against those that might have it in mind to come for him when he leaves office.

“I Don’t Expect Nigerians To Appreciate Me When I Leave Office”
Well, to whom much is given, much is expected, after all, it is indeed a justified statement of him admitting to the fact that he has not done a lot to alleviate the position of the country in various ramifications and so, it is only fair for him not to expect appreciation. But he wants to be remembered as a president that did his best and hopefully, Nigerians can reserve the right to their opinions when it comes to that and not be locked up for thinking or saying otherwise.

“I have served As A Governor, Minister and Two Termed President, I Have Done My Best”
As Nigerians, one will expect a vast change and influence to be reflected from someone who has had time to serve the country for so many years in different capacities, but the achievement seems to just be a measure of time and seniority in the real sense of things.
