For a while now, it has been this or that on the Ondo state election issue. If it is not Tinubu and one of the aspirants, it is Eyitayo vs Ali Modu Sheriff.
The unfortunate thing in all the mess is that the rifts have crashed the campaign process. Eyitayo Jegede SAN Camp plans to begin campaign this week but now they have to scrap that and face the appeal court of “adjournment”.
Jimoh Ibrahim has let himself be used as a machinery of confusion in PDP unknown to him that those controlling him only want to pitch their tent with the central power.
Every finger now points to the idea of the central power wanting to sum up the country to operating a one party system.
And the “smarter-than-himself” man called Oke has seized the opportunity to put his campaign foot down for more popularity, and who can blame him?! He is the only one with a roof over his head for now. PDP got the ‘divorced parent’ issue and there kids have to shuffle their weekends.
But I just don’t know the drill with Aketi. His campaign office is desolated. No one seem to know what he is up to or where he is!
