Comedian turned new street music sensation, Nasiru Michael Bolaji Lawal, also known as Nasboi is disturbing the digital social space with his new single ‘Umbrella’ featuring Wande Coal. He has come a long way in the industry and forging new opportunities for himself over the years.
Initially introduced into the social media space, @iamnasboi was popularly known for his Davido Mimicks, which caught the attention of Davido himself, but seamlessly, Nasboi sneaked into the content creation world, by making comedy skits on social media. And now, His ‘Umbrella’ song is gaining waves and trending on social media as well. Honestly, the song and its sound can easily live rent-free on anyone’s mind.
By and large, the young man’s hard work, talents and creativity are one to watch and pay attention to. According to him, music was his first passion and was even formally signed by Omotola Jalade’s record label before the sudden social media fame.
Nasboi is said to be releasing his second single from a body of work he will later release to the public ahead of the romance-fever period, Valentine’s Day, but might be released as early as January for people to set the mood ahead for February 14th.
