According to a statistical compilation by Thompson Reuters Survey recently conducted in Cairo Egypt, Lagos state has been voted the eighth most dangerous mega city for women to live based on for major factors considered for the research. Those factors are; sexual violence,cultural practices, healthcare and Economic opportunities.
The survey which covered a total of 19 world biggest mega cities ranked Lagos the 8th most dangerous mega cities among mega cities such as; Cairo, Karach, Kinshasa, Delhi, Darka, Mexico City, Jarkata, Istanbul and Lima. The survey poll was gathered based on the opinion of 380 experts in issues on women between the space of June and July, 2017.
