INEC also received similar reports in Adavi (five polling units), Ajaokuta (five polling units), Okehi (one polling unit), and Okene (five polling units). The electoral malpractice in other LGAs is being thoroughly investigated, and the outcome will be announced in the next 24 hours.

The election in the other nine wards involving 59 polling units and 15,136 registered voters remains suspended. The decision to hold a fresh election is subject to the returning official’s determination of the application of the margin of lead principle.
