The Week Big-Op: Is Kanye West Really Wrong? And is Childish Gambino Just Being Smart?

Watch the video where Kanye West said, slavery for 400 years is a choice before opinions flood this page.

Honestly, Kanye here could be practicing “if you can’t beat them, you join them”. Of course it might be insensitive of Kanye to ignore the black community marginalization, killings and brutality of the white supremacists which still threatens till today.  But could people actually be reading more meaning to what Kanye is saying instead of looking into what he is saying?

Alright, here is Donald Glover also known as CHildish Gambino, cleverly saying the same thing Kanye said but with justification of painting a picture by illustrating that America will always be America and nothing might change years to come.

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYOjWnS4cMY]

towards the end of the video, he said these; Hunnid bands, hunnid bands, hunnid bands (hunnid bands)
Contraband, contraband, contraband (contraband)
I got the plug in Oaxaca (woah)
They gonna find you like blocka (blaow)

Childish Gambino is saying the same thing Kanye is saying, that, the black community needs to develop pass the mentality of selling crack on the streets, going into bad illegal things just to make money and he is being praised for portraying the black community the way he did with over 74 million views. Check out the whole lyrics here;

How do we now judge past the approach they both agreed on that the black community should see past hate and practice love, that way, new inspirations can be born to help the young generations to live freely above fear and hate.

Let’s hear your opinion after you watch the videos.
