Did He Move Too Fast?

Graham Potter has been fired from his managerial role in the club after 6 months with 31 games, 12 wins, 11 losses and 8 draws, after joining Chelsea from Brighton Albion in September 2022 and this comes as relief for fans of the club.

One could simply ask if Graham Potter was a little bit ahead of himself taking the Gaffer job at Chelsea when he did which led to him being fired. From taking a club from Championship level into Premiere League and yet to compete as the top four in the new league to managing a club like Chelsea with high level of achievement records as well as expectations, seem to be a little too much for Potter.

He seemed to have jumped a lot of developmental stages as a manager by burdening his inexperience in the high level of football play. His situation bares a semblance with Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard’s careers. What do you think?
