The Governor of Comedy 2017, Rochas Okorocha has not failed to ‘wow’ us with his outrageous exhibition ever since he resumed his second tenure as the governor of Imo State. The day he woke up to fire civil servants in the state was not much of a popular event until he started erecting statues of some African Presidents who are which seems to be controversial. And his newly released event is the appointment of the Commissioner for Happiness and Couple’s Fulfillment. A December golden Buzzer I’ll call it.
The governor who swore in 28 commissioners and 27 transition committee chairmen yesterday, threw Nigerians off balance when they hear of the unique appointment of The Commissioner for Happiness and Couple’s Fulfillment, which was awarded to one Mrs. Ogechi Ololo, who is reported to be the Governor’s sister.

The Social Media has been throwing shades at Governor Rochas Okorocha for his recent insubordination on his recent course in the state. A man who seems to be abusing power by doing what he likes with the state’s fund and acting unquestionable for his actions. His first tenure as Imo State Governor was a well-praised kind as southerners told good news about him and all he did for them, starting with free education to Tertiary level and his philanthropic nature.
But his actions after his re-election shows a man who takes the people for a fool by playing them politically to gain re-election into office and afterwards turning his back on them. Sadly, he is not the only Governor doing this, his counterpart in Ekiti State will choose to share biscuits on the streets and saw Christmas clothes for children between age 1-10 but not provide them with the amenities they need to survive and opportunities to live above poverty.
Rochas Okorocha also displays the absolute abuse of power practiced by the ruling party, APC. Governors owing chuck load of salaries and yet, new commissioners are being appointed even to the extent of creating an appointment of joke, is a ridiculous and provocative action that should be rebuked. The irony of the matter is that, We won’t stop talking and him and his kind won’t stop doing because no one cares anymore.
