It has been reported that an attack was lad on Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki over a mining issue in Edo state.
Previously, the Governor had ordered he stop of work on the site after news reached him that there is an unsettled dispute between BUA and Dangote in Okpella community in Edo sate over a mining site.
CHairman and CEO of BUA, Yusuf Binji has been arrested after the attacked launched on the Governor’s convoy in line with reports that the suspected culprit sponsors militias in the state.
This can be a convenient story, but it is also not impossible for the allegations to be mere blackmail to see that the right person is mining the site in question.
