Chatolic Priest Weds In Kano

The world is changing and everything we used to know is taking turns with it. A Kano-based Catholic priest Father Gospel Inalegwu, who recently quits the doctrine he believes following some allegations against him by his church already had a traditional and court wedding.

Between the time of allegation and his decision to get married, seems too short for a man to go through the changes he did. Already met a woman in weeks and ready to settle with the same woman is a little suspicious. According to Linda Ikeji’s blog, a Facebook user who has a detailed report of the event had things to say about the catholic priest.

According to Facebook user, Shadrack Okpomhe: “During the week report come in that Rev Fr Godspower Inaelegwu who resigned in Kano got married even before his resignation, also rumour has it that he actually faked his kidnapp in order to quit the Priesthood , so pathetic and some persons will come and tell me to pray for him, when he himself allowed the devil to use him, accumulating wealth for himself through the Priesthood, rubbish rubbish.

“He knew quite alright he wasn’t capable yet he pretended for 11 years in the seminary, its time CBCN ,come up and address this issues ,its becoming so annoying that some hungry men now see the Priesthood as an avenue to make money just as Fr Edet did ,and report coming from his end has it he is also planning to walk down the aisle any time soon. Too too bad”.

The religious views lately indicates our religious leaders are misleading us and manipulating our faith in our various beliefs. The Facebook user’s appeal for the CBCN to intervene in the matter is as important as the entire CAN doing something about religious official’s conduct in the country at large.
