The second tenure of President Muhammadu Buhari keeps revealing more dirt about his administration which contradicts exactly what he preaches and for the All Progressive Congress supporters, the justification is that he is old and mostly does not know what he signs. Hence ‘the lying pen’.
It is alleged with proof that Buhari has promoted his nephew and a relation of Mamman Daura in the police force three times within the last four years which we all know does not occur ordinarily in the civil service protocol of this country.
There is also an allegation of a mansion worth 2.1 billion naira owned by Buhari in Asokoro Abuja and Maina’s case is breeding fire from the rocks where it has been hidden since last tenure.
Every one of these allegations were traced to Buhari signing it all into action and from the look of things, no remorse is shown for the aforementioned actions any antagonist like Omoyele Sowore will be arrested, there have been strategic placement of his loyalists and family members in key positions to cover up his tracks.
The fear therefore remains thus; will Buhari be willing to leave the presidential position when hhis tenure is over? Or are we looking at anther similar reign of Abacha in view? Speculations reveal that Asiwaju Tinubu, founder of The All Progressive Party will be contesting in the next presidential election. It then is a fight of the Titans that we might for once enjoy to watch the outcome of it all.
