The race for the presidential seat come 2019 is more intense than ever and new approach to the race comes with the youths putting a foot down to say, a fresh hand is needed to take the reins of government in Nigeria. As true as that can be, are the newbies ready to step into the shoes and wear it better?
The likes of Omoyele Sowore, Former CBN governor, Kingsley Kalu, Fela Durotoye among others in the circle of youths agitating for change in power have been noticed to declare their aspiration to contest for the upcoming election, yet, only their aspiration is well known, nothing about their level of integrity, delivery without first going to the Wikipedia to find out more about them.
The concentration from these aspirants aforementioned, is on the weakness of the present government when their energy should be channeled towards a new approach of moving the Nigerian population towards adopting new ideologies that will materialize the political freedom desired.
With the negativity pouring out of the present Buhari-led administration, the Nigerian politics is still current on the happenings of Muhuhammadu Buhari and Bukola Saraki than people who are carrying a new cross to be followed. For Nigerians to follow the newbies, information to capture the attention of Nigerians must be shared, they must cast the spotlight on themselves and most importantly, they must possess a political platform prepared fully to help them achieve their aspirations.
The necessary steps must be followed. Good ideology is not good without a proper highlighted priority to land the ideologies. Nigerians can succumb to diversity of power according to historical proof, but careful and planned steps are taken to achieve such trusts from Nigerians.
