On a professional level, let the bullsh*t be called off. On the thought of what will happen if something suddenly happens in Ondo State politically?
Some evil clowns were hosted to a programme on Adaba FM and they said Governor Olusegun Mimiko paid 1 million dollars to honour the Chatham House Conference in London last week, they made that allegation with so much confidence and certainty in a way that cannot be questioned. Suddenly online, a statement was released from the conference stating that the governor’s bills were fully paid and taken care of by Chatham’s House for the conference, in which Adaba FM retweeted it on twitter and even liked it, but did not deem it fit to correct the public notion earlier created by the clowns that made the accusations.Readers, only in that action Adaba FM is guilty of sedition and contempt against the law that binds broadcasting in the country and refusing to correct the wrong accusation with the evidence received after.
Sincere disappointment goes to the NBC who has chosen to ignore Adaba FM excesses in the practice of broadcasting, if the body is being controlled by the federal government, then the witch hunting of the whole APC on the PDP is nothing but the truth. A campaign of anti-corruption is being launched by the President and the question remains; who is the federal government kidding on fighting corruption? It is either they do not understand the concept behind the word ‘corruption’ which does not only charge money looters but centres mainly on poor and unacceptable conducts within a country.
President Muhammadu Buhari charged that the media needs to regulate every platform of media to conform to the real practice and work according to the laws guiding media. So, why is there nobody guiding Adaba FM? is it because it belongs to APC? let us know. They keep allowing the public to grow on the wrong perception and every media personnel needs not to be told the advantages and dissadvantages of disseminating information which can either make or mar any given entity. If a party is keen on fairness and justice we don’t want to ear it alone, we also want to see it. The throne has never been designed for one man on earth, it is the curse of every throne man has made for himself. God bless Nigeria! Make the country a good place in your own little way.
