A new colour has emerged on the Nigerian fag that we know to be green white green. The colour which was not announced by any media outlet or any top government official is now be revealed more in recent times and this is perceived as an open secret.
Let me stop the suspense in this manner. A country where the symbol of progess in agriculture and peace is being represented on the flag and portrayed to be the identity of the country, it is only right that we mention the changes that has greatly affected the progress in agriculture and the peace of the country as both symbols can no longer be addressed among Nigerians without mentioning the recent killings in the country being carried out allegedly by the Fulani herdsmen, the same people who belongs to the agricultural community in the country.
The peace symbol is also being threatened with these reports. The blood of innocent farmers and villagers has taken over the beautiful colour of peace in the country and there you have it. The new colour is the blood of the innocents splashed across the land and it is really becoming noticeable. The government can as well make it official at this point and stop with made up stories. Admitting the situation will go a long way at this point.
